NALCO institutes Green Award for meritorious engineers

National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has instituted state-level awards for meritorious engineers, who have introduced and adopted Green Technology in the industrialisation of Odisha.

The award titled ‘NALCO Green Awards for Engineering Excellence’ shall be given annually on the occasion of Engineers’ Day.

NALCO sources here said every year four engineers would be honoured with cash award. One first prize, one second prize and two third prizes would be given.

While the first and the second prize carries a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh and Rs 1 lakh respectively the two third prize will have cash award of Rs 50,000.

All the awardees would also be felicitated with a citation.
