15 June, Harare
Limited overs skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni Wednesday became the first Indian wicketkeeper to complete 350 dismissals in One-Day International (ODI) cricket.
The 34-year-old achieved the feat during the ongoing third and final ODI against Zimbabwe, when he caught Elton Chigumbura off Jasprit Bumrah in the 33rd over.
The Ranchi lad, who is playing his 278th ODI match, has taken 261 catches and 89 stumpings.
Dhoni is now at the fourth position in the list of wicketkeepers with the most number of dismissals in ODIs.
Notably, Kumar Sangakkara from Sri Lanka leads the list with 482 dismissals followed by Australian Adam Gilchrist with 472 and South African Mark Boucher with 424 dismissals.
