Royal Enfield flags off 13th edition of Himalayan Odyssey

With the debut of women riders on the fray, Indian two-wheeler giant Royal Enfield today flagged off the 13th edition of the Himalayan Odyssey from the iconic India Gate.
As many as 83 men and 20 women riders from various countries will cover over 2,500 kilometers, mapping diverse terrains ranging from streets of Delhi to snow clad valleys of Ladakh during the 15-day Himalayan Odyssey, which is often considered as the holy grail of motorcycling.
Speaking on the occasion, Senior Vice President, Sales, Services and Spares, Royal Enfield, Shaji Koshy said, “For six decades, Royal Enfield has been the motorcycle of choice for all those who have wanted to ride to the mountains. This year, we have introduced the Himalayan Odyssey – Women, an exclusive all women’s ride that promises to be the ultimate motorcycling adventure for all women who ride a Royal Enfield.”
”We have received an encouraging response towards this and we hope ride becomes an inspiration for many more women to take up motorcycling in India,” he added.
