Sachin will be an inspiration for players: Modi

Wishing luck to the Indian contingent for the upcoming Rio Olympics, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said Sachin Tendulkar’s motivational words will inspire the athletes to perform well in the mega-event.
Sachin, who is the goodwill ambassador for the Indian contingent, tweeted,” Wished India’s #Rio2016 Olympic contingent through @narendramodi’s Mobile App. Hope to meet them in Rio! Download http://nm4.in/dnldapp & wish them!”
Later, retweeting the master blaster’s tweet, Modi said,”Thanks a lot @sachin_rt…your motivating words & presence at Rio will encourage our athletes tremendously.”
The PM also retweeted 2004 silver-medalist Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore tweet in which he said,”As an Olympian, can tell you that your wishes really motivate our athletes. Great gesture by PM to urge citizens to wish Rio olympians.”
The Rio Olympics, which will commence tomorrow, is all set to witness India’s largest ever contingent in the history of the games.
