‘Sultan’ inches close to Rs 600 cr mark, earns Rs 580 cr worldwide

The Salman Khan-starrer ‘Sultan’ has inched close to the Rs 600 crore mark at the worldwide box office, grossing RS 580 crore worldwide so far, trade sources said.
‘Sultan’, a biopic on the life of Olympian wrestler Sultan Ali Khan, has grossed Rs 418.41 crore at the domestic market and earned a gross of Rs 162.1 crore at the overseas box office.’Sultan’ now stands with the total worldwide collection of 580.51 crore at the box office.
The movie, which is the third highest Bollywood earner worldwide, has inched closer to the Rs 600 crore mark.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, ‘Sultan, which features Salman in the title role and Anushka Sharma in the female lead, has been on a record breaking spree, since it released on Eid this year.
The film also stars Randeep Hooda, Amit Sadh and Kumud Mishra in supporting roles.
