Rio 2016: China’s Chen Long wins gold in men’s singles badminton

In badminton, Chen Long of China defeated Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia 21-18, 21-18 to claim gold in the men’s singles competition at the Rio Olympics in Rio de Janeiro Saturday evening.
Lee has now lost the last three Olympic finals, prolonging Malaysia’s wait for a gold medal at the Olympics.
