Pak aircraft ‘violates’ air space along IB in Jammu

A Pakistani aircraft Monday allegedly ‘violated’ air space along International Border (IB) in Ranbir Singh Pura sector here.

“A Pakistani helicopter this afternoon at around 1300 hrs allegedly violated Indian air space by crossing over to this side of the border in R S Pura sector,” sources here said.

They said that it was a two-seater civil helicopter, which strayed into the Indian air space. “The chopper was seen for seconds and disappeared later to resurface again at some other place,” sources said, adding that both sides normally stay 4-5 km away from the IB to avoid chances of inadvertent crossing of the zero line.
