P T Usha to head BJP NC reception committee

A 1,001-member reception committee headed by Olympian P T Usha as president has been constituted for the smooth conduct of the BJP national council scheduled to begin in this historic city on September 23.

Zomorin Raja K C Unniyanujan, J R S leader C K Janu, Kathakali maestro Guru Chemencherry Kunhiraman Nair, Dr K Madhavankutty, BJP leader O Rajagopal, MLA, Gandhian Gopinathan Nair and Ms Ahalya Shankar were the patrons.

The reception committee formation meet inaugurated by C K Janu also elected BJP state President Kummanam Rajasekharan as General Convener.
