Dalmia Cement Bharat sets up R and D Centre in Chennai

Dalmia Cement Bharat Limited. the cement subsidiary of Dalmia Bharat Group (DBG) today opened a Research and Development (R and D) centre inthe city.

The Dalmia Cement Research Centre (DCRC) was launched to support the manufacturing, marketing and innovation initiatives of the company and deliver ground-breaking new solutions which would create industry benchmarks.

A company statement said, the Centre boasts of state-of-the-art facilities. The R and D team has to its credit numerous researchpapers published in international journals of repute and collaborations with renowned national and international institutes like IIT, Delhi and cole Polytechnique Fdrale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland for research, designa and development of new products as well as value addition to the existing products.

Inaugurating the centre, Group CEO Dalmia Cement Bharat Limited Mahendra Singhi said ”we believe in constantly innovating, developing quality products and improving service to achieve customer satisfaction, all with new benchmarks in quality, usability and sustainability.”
