Animal Keeper Injured as Tigers Pounced On In Bannerghatta National Park

An animal keeper was grievously injured when two lions pounced on him in the Bannerghatta National Park near Bengaluru Monday Morning .

The Executive Director of the Park Range Gowda has informed that the animal keeper Sri Krishna lifted the side gate of the cage by mistake and two male lions escaped and pounced on him.

He has sustained multiple injuries in neck and abdominal region of his body.

The incident occurred when a lady doctor and three internship students were making preparations for vaccination of all the lions housed in the lions safari within the Park.
