Sangakkara Set To Bid Adieu To International Cricket After India Series

Former Sri Lanka skipper Kumar Sangakkara is all set to bid adieu to international cricket by the end of August after the three-match series against India.

The 37-year-old, who has been in prime form in the on going World Cup has already announced his retirement from One-Day International (ODI) and Twenty-20 cricket.

The southpaw, Sunday became only the second batsman to complete 14,000 runs in the 50-over format. With over 12000 Test runs at an average of 58.66, the Lankan batsman is only behind Sachin Tendulkar, Ricky Ponting, Jacques Kallis and Rahul Dravid.
