Haryana To Ban Cow Slaughter ,To Bring Legislation

Haryana Government will introduce the Haryana Gauvansh Sanrakshan and Gausamvardhan Bill 2015 in the ongoing budget session for protection of cows.

Haryana Governor informed this in his address delivered to the house Monday . In the proposed bill, a framework will be provided to ban the cow slaughter in the state and it will promote conservation and development of indigenous cows.

Haryana Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Minister Om Parkash Dhankar said that provisions will be made in the bill for hard punishment to the cow slaughters.

He said that sale of beef will also be banned in the state.
