Swine Flu Claims 221 Lives In Maharashtra in 68 Days

The death toll due to swine flu has risen to 221 in Maharashtra since January this year, with 10 deaths being reported in the last 48 hours.

According to state health department, the number of swine flu affected cases in the state has risen to 2703.

Out of them, 2,059 swine flu affected people have been cured of the disease and discharged from the hospital till now. The state health department has stated that it is well equipped to handle prevention and control of the disease.
