Hindu Youth Sena Leader Surrenders In Chennai Court Owning Responsibility for Attack on Media, Issue Raised In RS

The leader of the Hindu Youth Sena organisation Jayam Pandian has surrendered in the Madurai Court claiming responsibility for the attack on Media Channel at Chennai Thursday .

Explosives were packed in two tiffin boxes which were hurled at the Puthiya Thalaimurai office early this morning. Bomb experts were immediately called for and the State police have formed different teams to look out for the culprits. They are also assessing the CCTV footage.

A reported bomb attack on a media house in Chennai early this morning was raised in the Rajya Sabha Thursday .

Kanimozhi of the DMK and others raised the issue saying that it is third incident which amounts to violation of the freedom of expression.

Media reports say unidentified assailants hurled two country-made bombs in tiffin boxes at the office of Puthiya Talaimurai TV channel.

Responding to this, Deputy Chairman Prof P J Kurien asked the agitating members to give notices for raising the issue.
