Ex-CBI Director Joginder Singh dies

Former CBI Director Joginder Singh passed away Friday after prolonged illness, family sources said here.He was 77.

They said Singh would be cremated tomorrow at 1300 hrs at Lodhi Crematorium of the city. Leaders from the ruling BJP and Congress parties have also condoled his demise.
Taking to twitter, senior Congress leader Manish Tewari said, “May God rest his soul in peace.” Senior BJP leader Tarun Vijay in a Tweet said, “So sad.

The most visible and strongly nationalist spokesperson on security and corruption issues. Heartfelt Shraddhanjali.”

He said, “Joginder Singh was great motivator, nationalist, candid speaker, spared none.Visited Panchjanya many times, contributed. Homage to a brave soul.”
