UP candidate dies due to heart attack in UP

Election Commission can suspend the elections of Aalapur Assembly seat of Ambedkarnagar district after Samajwadi Party candidate died due to heart attack Sunday.

Reports here said that the SP candidate from Aalapur seat Chabdrashekhar Kanaujiya died after a massive heart attack this morning.

However UP Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) T Venketesh said here that they have sought a report from the District Magistrate and after the report would seek direction from the Election Commission.
