Sudarshan to teach sand art techniques to teachers in Bahrain

Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has been invited by the Bahrain Economic Development to teach various technique of creating sand art to around thirty teachers in their country.
According to Patnaik, he along with his student Ajit Kumar Sahu have left for Bahrain to attend a sand art Workshop cum training program. Around thirty teachers from the Ministry of Education in Bahrain will participate in the workshop.
In the five-day workshop Sudarsan will teach them the various techniques of creating sand art. The workshop will be held at Beach, where the participants will be able to create their own sand sculptures.
The Padma shree awardee Sand artist had recently created World’s tallest sand castle at Puri beach which has set a new record in Guinness World record. So far he has participated in more than 50 International sand sculpture championships and festivals around the World and won many prizes for the country.
