Pujara scores third double century of his test career

Cheteshwar Pujara scored his third double hundred of his test career as he reached 200 of 521 balls balls which included 21 fours in the final session of day four of the third test of the Border Gavaskar Series being played at the JSCA International Stadium here Sunday.

Pujara reached the milestone as he took a single at square leg at the bowling of Lyon.Pujara had scored his first double hundred (206 not out) against England in Ahmedabad on November 2012.

He notched up his second double century against Australia on March 2, 2013 at Hyderabad where he scored 204.

Pujara faced balls 521 balls to reach the 200 thus becoming the first Indian Batsman to face more than 400 deliveries since VVS Laxman against Australia in 2001.
