Land Bill Controversy : Land Acquisition Only After Taking Farmers In Confidence : Minister Birendra Singh

Union Minister for Rural Development, Birender Singh has assured farmers that their land will be acquired only after taking them in confidence. Singh was interacting with farmers Saturday in the ongoing Agriculture Summit at Gurgaon.

He said that he is the son of a farmer and knows that the farmers are struggling with their poor economic condition, while politicians and builders are enjoying luxurious life.

He also promised to farmers that their land will not be given to industrialists or corporates but will be used for their benefit and welfare.
