Eight Persons Detained In Connection With Nadia Nun Gang Rape Incident

Police investigation is on to nab culprits involved in the alleged gang rape of a Nun inside a convent school in Nadia district of West Bengal .

Police has detained eight persons in connection with the incident so far.

The West Bengal Opposition leader Dr. Suryakanta Mishra visited the school and the hospital to inquiry about the health of the victim on Sunday evening.

A delegation of BJP, Bangiya, Christ, Parishad also visited the area and demanded exemplary punishment to guilty.

Arch Bishop of Kolkata Thomas De Souza has convened a rally in Kolkata on Monday in view of the incident. AIR Kolkata correspondent reports that the police has identified the guilty from CCTV footage.
