Union Govt. Ask Haryana police To Introduce Gender Budgetting, To Ensure 33 % Reservation For Women

Union Ministry of Home Affairs has advised the Haryana Police to introduce gender budgeting in allocation of police funds to provide ample facilities and equipment for women police personnel in the state.
Official Sources said that besides gender budgeting, the state authorities have also been asked to provide facilities such as rest rooms, common rooms and toilets for women police personnel in all the police stations and administrative buildings in the state.
The government has also been advised to remedial measures to ensure 33 percent representation of women in the state police.
