EC disqualifies Narottam Mishra for submitting wrong expenditure accounts in polls

Election Commission has disqualified Madhya Pradesh Minister Narottam Mishra for submitting wrong expenditure accounts in the polls.
Official sources said Mishra has also been debarred from contesting poll for three years.
He had allegedly published paid news in various newspapers ahead of 2008 Assembly elections without accounting for that expense.
The disqualification of the legislator from Datia would stand for three years, official sources said here.Congress leader Rajendra Bharti had approached the Election Commission in 2012 complaining that Mishra had paid ‘for news’ without accounting the same in his election expenditures.
