KLF chairman Malik sent to judicial remand till June 26

Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman Mohammad Yaseen Malik, who was arrested in summer capital, Srinagar, today has been sent to judicial remand till June 26.
A police party raided the Maisuma residence of Malik and took him into custody today, a spokesman of the front said.He said Malik was detained in Central Jail, Srinagar after he was sent to two days remand.
Criticising the Government for imposing restriction on separatists leaders and arrest of Malik, the spokesman said normally detenues are being released on Eid but this PDP-led gGvernment has arrested the separatists.
Malik had given slip to the security forces yesterday and addressed a congregation at the Shrine of Sheikh Nooruddin Wali at Charar-e-Shrief yesterday, when chairmen of both the factions of moderate Hurriyat Conference (HC) were under house arrest.
Meanwhile, another senior leader of the front Shakeel Ahmad Bakshi also remained under detention in Police Station Parimpora in the city outskirts for the past one week, spokesman said.
