BSP will not participate in RJD’s Patna rally on August 27: Mayawati

Bahujan Samaj Party Chief Mayawati has said that her party will not participate in the rally organised by Lalu Prasad Yadav led Rashtriya Janata Dal RJD on August 27 at Patana.

Talking to media persons at Lucknow she said that her party is in favour of unity and alliance of all secular and like mind parties but it should be based on mutual understanding and confidence.

She said that misunderstanding among parties and separation of them from alliance weaken the faith of common men towards alliances and it benefited the ruling BJP.

She said understanding on seat sharing and principal among political parties are prerequisite for continuation of any alliance. She also said that her party will not go for any alliance ignoring its self respect and position.

She accused BJP of adopting all wrong measures to defame opposition parties and weaken them.
