BCCI announces India U-19 squad for Asia Cup

The BCCI on Monday announced the India U-19 team for the fourth edition of the Asia Cup beginning in Malaysia from November 9-20.

The Haryana batsman Himanshu Rana will lead the team, while Abhishek Sharma is vice-captain. From 13 matches Rana has scored 705 runs in first class cricket at an average of 33.57.

Team India is defending champions and has won the tournament thrice.U-19 squad: Himanshu Rana (Captain), Abhishek Sharma (vice-captain), Atharva Taide, Manjot Kalra, Salman Khan, Anuj Rawat, Harvik Desai, Riyan Parag, Anukul Roy, Shiva Singh, Tanush Kotian, Darshan Nalkande, Vivekanand Tiwary, Aditya Thakare, Mandeep Singh.
