India to continue winning momentum against Kiwis

As India play their first ODI match at Wankhede Stadium against the New Zealand on Sunday, the Virat Kohli-led Indian team would love to continue the winning momentum after beating Australia 4-1.The hosts will play three-match ODI series against the Black caps and also focus to retain top position in ODI team rankings.
Having beaten Australia in the previous home series 4-1, India will be aiming to repeat the same when they take on Black caps at Wankhede Stadium on Sunday.It will be a special day for the Indian skipper Virat Kohli who will be playing his 200th ODI and will become the 13th Indian to achieve this feat. With 30 ODI centuries to his credit Virat has amassed 8767 runs till date.
The skipper who is currently at no 2 in ODI batting rankings wil be hoping to retain no one spot.
AB de Villiers of South Africa with 879 rating stands on top in ODI Batting rankings while skipper Kohli with 877 rating has slipped to no 2. There is only two points difference between AB and Kohli. In ODI Team rankings South Africa has replaced India gaining no 1 spot with 120 rating.India has won six bilateral series beating Zimbabwe 3-0, New Zealand 3-2, England 2-1, West Indies 3-1, Sri Lanka 5-0 and Australia 4-1.
