Rabri Devi not to perform Chhath Puja after her son’s divorce petition

Disturbed by her eldest son and RJD MLA from Mahua Tej Pratap Yadav’s divorce petition against her wife Aishwarya Rai, former chief minister Rabri Devi, wife of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad will not perform 4-day Chhatth Puja commencing from November 11.
It was confirmed by RJD MLA Bhola Yadav, considered a close confidant of RJD chief Mr Prasad confirmed here today.
It is understood that Lalu family decided to skip Chhath worship this year after Tej Pratap had filed divorce petition against her wife Aishwarya Rai, grand-daughter of former chief minister Darago Prasad Rai at family court of Patna Civil Court on November 02. The entire Lalu family has plunged into yet another bout of uncertainties following Tej Prap`s move.
After filing his divorce petition, Tej Pratap had gone to meet his father Lalu Prasad in Ranchi next day. On his return journey, he had made a stopover at the temple town of Bodh Gaya before proceeding to Varanasi by dodging his accompanying security personnel on November 05. Tej Pratap is reportedly present in Haridwar.
