Akhilesh Yadav considers Ram bhakts as enemies: BJP
Lucknow,November 24:
Lashing out at Samajwadi Party president (SP) Akhilesh Yadav’s comment about ‘deploying the Army’ in Ayodhya, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday said that the latest statement by the SP chief is indicative of his ‘distorted mentality.’Party state spokesperson Dr Chandramohan said that advocating the deployment of the Army by the SP chief, who is suspected of causing disturbance in Ramanagari, suggests that he considers Ram devotees as ‘enemies.’ “The BJP doesn’t believe in either the Supreme Court or the constitution. The party can go to any extent. The kind of environment there is in UP, especially in Ayodhya, the Supreme Court should take notice of it and send the Army if necessary,” Akhilesh had said on Friday.
Dr Chandramohan said that ‘Ram bhakts’ were performing peacefully in Ayodhya but Mr Yadav considers them to be ‘criminals’. He further said that this misunderstanding cost him dearly in the results of the Assembly elections.
The public will not tolerate insults of the Ram devotees. Earlier, SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav, who preserves the ideology of criminals, had fired bullets at ‘Ram Bhakts.’ He said that the point here to note was that Mr Akhilesh Yadav never commented anti-Pakistan statements, but he always raised his finger on the strong actions undertaken by the Indian army against Pakistan. This shows that he treats Pakistan as a ‘friend’ and Ram devotees as ‘enemies.’The state spokesman said that under the leadership of Mr Yadav, the previous SP government created a world record of riots. He also said that the Army had to bear the brunt of the chaos created by the government, adding that the Army personnel had to be deployed to control the riots in Muzaffarnagar.
