Raj Babaar To Lead a “Satyagarah Fast” Infront of PM Modi’s Residence Tuesday Against Central Neglect Towards Uttarakhand

Congress Rajya Sabha MPs from Uttarakhand Raj Babbar and Mahendra Singh Mahra, Party’s State in charge Ambika Soni and co-incharge Sanjay Kapoor, state party chief Kishor Upapdhyay and party MLAs would lead the ”Satyagraha Fast” tomorrow Tuesday in front of the residence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Congress Party Shilpi Arora, while giving this information, has appealed to all Congress workers to participate in large numbers in the Satyagraha to press for 15-point demands of the Uttarakhand Congress for development of the state and its people.
In a communique issued here, Ms Arora said she had visited the Satyagraha site and reviewed the arrangements today. She expressed confidence that a large number of Congress workers would come together to make the demonstration successful.
During the demonstration, they will protest against deduction of resources to Uttarakhand by the Centre amounting to up to 4000 crore.
Demand will also be placed to take steps to make Ganga pollution free in the state of its origin, she said.
