Chhattisgarh To Have Country’s First National Skill Development University : Union Minister Rudy

Chhattisgarh will have country’s first National Skill Development University. Union minister Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajiv Pratap Rudy said this in Raipur Tuesday .

Talking to media persons in Raipur, Rudy said the government is in the process of formulating a skill development policy under the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He said the policy would be finalized in the next three months.

The union minster praised Chhattisgarh government for taking lead in taking up skill development projects.

He said the government’s focus is more on skill development so as to generate more employable manpower. He said the standards for skill development would be set by respective industries and not by the government.
