PM to interact in another edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha tomorrow
New Delhi, January 28:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with a cross section of students, teachers and parents in another edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha tomorrow.
A total of two thousand students, parents and teachers from all over India will be participating in the programme at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi.
Over one lakh students took part in the online contest on MyGov Portal, out of which these two thousand participants were selected by a selection committee.
AIR reports ,It is a unique interaction where students, teachers, parents and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come together to discuss exam related stress.
For the first time, students from all over the country and also Indian students residing abroad will participate in the event. Last year students only from Delhi NCR had participated. The participants from abroad include from countries like Russia, Nigeria, Iran, Nepal, Doha, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore.
The interaction will revolve around issues related to examinations and the stress connected to them. A short film on initiatives taken by Ministry of HRD will be shown, highlighting the steps taken from last year’s Pariksha Par Charcha, to reduce exam related stress.
This year a cultural programme of ten minutes has also been included in which the bright student winners from Kala Utsav contest, their parents and teachers will perform at the event.
All India Radio will broadcast this programme live from 10.55 am tomorrow on the national hook up of AIR including, all FM Rainbow channels and multi-channel AIR stations on one of their channels. Live telecast is being done by Doordarshan as well.
Arrangements are being made for live telecast of the programme in all Government and CBSE Schools and Higher Education Institutions, Colleges of the country and abroad.
