PM Modi To Visit France , Germany , Canada From 9th To 16th April

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit France, Germany and Canada from 9th to 16th April.

Briefing media in New Delhi Wednesday evening, External Affairs Ministry spokesman Syed Akbaruddin said, Modi will first travel to France from 9th to 12th and hold discussions with French President Francois Hollande.

The Prime Minister will also interact with the leadership in that country. Modi will then proceed to Germany where he will have talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and also participate in –Hannover Messe fair 2015.

During the last leg of the visit, Mr Modi will go to Canada on 14th to 16th. He will meet his Canadian counterpart Stephen Harper and hold bilateral discussions.

In the briefing, Secretary (West) Navtez Sarna said, the 3rd India-Africa forum summit will take place later this year.

Sarna said, the summit will strengthen the ongoing relations among participating countries. The Summit is likely to take place from 26th to 30 October.
