PM Modi Reaches Singapore To Attend Former Singapore PM Lee Kuan Yew’s Funeral As India Observes national Mourning

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Singapore to attend the funeral of former Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Kuan Yew Sunday .

Host of world leaders, including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi are attending the State funeral of Singapore’s founding fathers Lee Kuan Yew .

The funeral procession for Lee on Sunday will cover a distance of 15.4 km and the funeral service will be held at the National University of Singapore, according to the State Funeral Organising Committee.

Meanwhile India a observed national mourning today ,Sunday as mark of respect to Lee Kuan Yew.

National flag is being flown at half-mast throughout the country and there will be no official entertainment today.

91-year-old Lee, Singapore’s founding father who dominated the country’s politics for more than half a century,died of severe pneumonia on 23rd of this month.
