National Education policy To be Ready By December Next : Smriti Irani

Union Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani has said that the National Education Policy will be formed by December, this year.

Speaking to media in Jalandhar, Sunday , she said all the state education ministers have been asked to give their suggestions by November for a uniformed policy for the country.

Replying to a query, Irani denied any differences with Party President Amit Shah and said she already has so many responsibilities.

The Minister, who was in Jalandhar to distribute degrees to students on the annual convocation of Kanya Maha Vidyaliya, called upon the girl students fraternity to get encouragement from Tessay Thomas, the missile woman of India, who is the project director for Agni IV Missile in DRDO.

She persuaded them to study technical courses in the vocational education training. Irani said that though girls lead in education as compared to boys but they lack in studies related technical education.
