Delhi Police launches Spl Campaign In DU Campus To Check Eve Teasing

Delhi Police has launched a campaign in Delhi University where girls trained in unarmed combat will patrol crime prone areas along with policewomen.

This has been done to check eve teasing and catch any body making nuisance.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Madhur Verma said the campaign, called She To Shakti was launched in the varsity’s north campus.

Delhi Police has vowed to train one lakh women in self-defence by the end of this year to make them strong enough to fight back in case of any unpleasant situation.
