India 273/3 against South Africa at stumps on day 1

Pune, October 11:

In Cricket, India were 273 for 3 in their first innings at stumps on the opening day of the second test match against South Africa at Pune Thursday.

Giving India a solid start Mayank Agarwal made 108, his second Test century, while Cheteshwar Pujara scored 58. Captain Virat Kohli (63 not out) and Ajinkya Rahane (18 not out) were at the crease when stumps were drawn early due to poor light.

Earlier today, Kohli, playing his 50th test as captain won the toss and chose to bat first. Kagiso Rabada took all the three wickets for South Africa.

India lead the three-match series 1-Nil winning first test by comprehensive 203 runs at Visakhapatnam.
