Registraton Of Unauthorised Colonies In Delhi To Start From Wednesday

The Delhi government today announced that the registration of unauthorised colonies will start from tomorrow, Wednesday.
Briefing a news conference here, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said the registry of properties in unauthorised colonies will start from tomorrow.
He said the demarcation work in unauthorised colonies has also started. The registration of properties booked by the MCD would start from tomorrow.
In those unauthorised colonies wherever the demarcation work gets over, the registration work will begin, he added.
Last year, the Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, had approved an amendment to the existing guidelines that enables regularisation of all unauthorized colonies that have come up till June 1, 2014 namely extension of cut-off date for regularisation from March 31, 2002 to June 1, 2014.
