PM Modi addresses meeting of DGPs, IGPs of all states in Pune

Pune, December 07 :

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Saturday addressed a meeting of DGPs and IGPs of all states in Pune. He had a day long interaction with them in C.V.Raman Auditorium of Indian Institute of Science Education and Research.

Marathon discussion on various aspects of internal security which started at 10 A.M. continued till late evening. Today is the second day of this 3-day conference.

Over 200 delegates including DGPs and IGPs of all states, heads of Central investigative and intelligence agencies, and paramilitary forces are participating in this conference.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval are participating in the conference from day one. A comprehensive internal security plan is likely to be drafted in this conference which will conclude tomorrow.
