NHRC team examines bodies of 4 slain accused in Disha’s rape and murder

Hyderabad, December 07:

A  team of National Human Rights Commission has examined the bodies of Four Disha accused who were killed in an encounter on Friday.

The team visited Mahabubnagar government hospital along with a forensic team and examined the bodies this afternoon. Earlier, the team visited Chatanpally, where the four accused in Veterinary Doctor’s rape and murder case were encountered.

The team also spoke to villagers to gather information over the encounter. The NHRC has sue-motu taken cognizance of the encounter and sent a team to inquire into it.

It may be recalled that all the four accused in Disha case were killed in an encounter at Chatanpally when they were trying to escape after attacking police on Friday morning.

Meanwhile, over a petition, the Telangana high court also directed the state government to submit the video footage of the autopsy of the accused and keep the bodies preserved till 6 pm on Monday.
