Five Arrested For Alleged Gang Rape Of Two Minor Girls On Gun Point in Badaun , UP

Two minor girls were allegedly gangraped at gun point by five persons in Jareef Nagar police area of Badaun in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday night.

The police has arrested five youths, including two brothers on Wednesday after locals allegedly caught them in the act.The booked the five accused under charges of gangrape and POCSO Act.

The police have recorded the statement of the minor victims in which they have accused three of the arrested youths of raping them.

The SSP said though the preliminary medical report of the girls did not reveal any mark of injury in any part of the girls’ bodies but it will be clear only after the final report of medical examination is received.

SSP, Badaun, Saumitra Yadav said the girls – cousins aged 12 and 13 are being produced before the magistrate on Thursday for getting their statement recorded.

Barely a year ago, Badaun was rocked when two minor cousins were allegedly gang-raped and their bodies were found hanging from a mango tree.
