PM Modi Reaches Bengaluru On 3-Day Visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Bengaluru on a three-day visit to the City. Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Union Minister Ananth Kumar are among others who welcomed Mr Modi on his arrival at HAL Airport.

Modi, will participate in the BJP National Executive Meeting at Hotel Lalit Ashok. He will also address a public meeting at National College Ground tomorrow, Friday.

Earlier the meeting of the executive had begun with the BJP National President Amit Shah presiding over the meeting National office bearers.

Party Spokesperson Shanawas Hussain said the meeting will focus on evolving an action plan for strengthening its organisation in seven States, including Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Kerala and Assam, which are going to polls in 2016.

Defending the claim of BJP as the largest political party in the world, Hussain came down heavily on the Congress. He said that the Party’s National President had set a target for each state for enrolling members and the state units have achieved the target.

Prime Minister will address the political affairs committee meeting tomorrow which is expected to take up two resolutions for discussion. Senior Party Leaders L.K.Advani and Murali Manohar Joshi and other senior office bearers will attend the meeting.
