Swine Flu Claims 450 Lives In Maharashtra So Far

The death toll due to the H1N1 virus in Maharashtra has risen to 450 with 3 more patients succumbing to the disease, in the last 24 hours. The overall percentage of the disease is decreasing across the state.

According to the State Health Department, 35 new patients have tested positive for H1N1 in last 24 hours taking the total number of swine flu affected cases in the state to 4947. As many as 1913 cases are reported from Mumbai, 579 cases are from Nagpur, and 1221 from Pune.

Meanwhile, 47 more swine flu positive patients have been treated successfully and discharged from various hospitals in the state.
