2o Maoists Killed In Encounter in Chhattisgarh

In Chhattisgarh, police claimed that 20 Maoists were killed in an encounter with Special Task Force on Saturday.
Inspector General of Police, Bastar Range, S.R.P. Kalluri said that when Maoists attacked a team of STF near Pidmal village in Sukma district last Saturday, security personnel retaliated.
He said police could not recover the bodies of Maoists because rebels had taken the bodies with them. In this attack seven security personnel had laid down their lives.
Meanwhile, security forces have arrested two Maoists from Kirandul area of Dantewada district. Police also recovered explosives weighing 3 kilograms from these Maoists.
