PM Modi addresses party workers at BJP headquarters in Delhi
New Delhi, November 11:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that election results have clearly shown that the people will shower their blessings on those who work with honesty and vision of development. Addressing BJP workers at the party headquarters in New Delhi on the occasion of celebration of victory gained during the Bihar Assembly election and bye – elections in other States, Mr Modi said, the expectation of the people from every political party is to work for the development of the country.
He said, the development of the country and of the State is the biggest criterion today and it is going to be the basis of elections in the times to come. He said, today, the biggest reason for the affection that the country is showering on the BJP as well as on NDA, is that both have made the development of the country and the welfare of the people their top priorities. The Prime Minister said, today, BJP is the only national party in the country, in which the poor, Dalits, the oppressed and the deprived find their representation. He said, today, BJP is the only national party in the country, which understands the needs of every section of the society and is working for them.
The Prime Minister said the way India has fought this corona pandemic from Janta Curfew till today has been reflected in these election results. He said, every life saved from COVID-19 is a success story for India. Mr Narendra Modi said, its governance model lies behind BJP’s success and when people think of governance, they think of BJP. He said, Good Governance is the identity of BJP governments. The Prime Minister made it clear that in the Bihar elections, the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas has won. He said, this is the victory of the aspirations of Bihar and the victory of its pride.
He said, BJP has a large group of silent voters that are voting repeatedly and the women- the Nari Shakti of this country are the silent voters for us. Women have become the largest group of silent voters for the BJP.
Mr Modi said, the youth of the country knows it very well that dynasty politics poses the biggest threat to democracy and unfortunately, a national-level political party is caught in the web of family politics. He said, in such a situation, the role of BJP has increased even more. He also said, there are some political parties who cannot compete in a democratic way and have begun murdering BJP party workers. He said, the people are watching and they will answer. He said, BJP is dedicated to democracy and is committed to fulfilling the trust and aspirations of the people. He said, no one can doubt our intentions and nobody is ever disappointed with our efforts.
The Prime Minister said, he will keep working for the development of the country and its people and the results of elections give a boost to BJP morale. The Prime Minister said, 21st century India is a India of new thought and no challenge can stop it. He said he is seeing the emergence of a new India. Mr Modi Minister also invited the youth who want to serve the country to come and work for the country with the BJP.
He said, he thanked the people not merely because they gave the BJP a huge mandate in the elections but also because they participated in a festival of democracy with great enthusiasm.
He also thanked the people of the country, Election Commission, Local Administration and security forces for conducting the elections peacefully and successfully. He said, conducting elections during the corona pandemic was not an easy task but our democratic systems are so strong, transparent, that even in the midst of this crisis, they have demonstrated India’s strength to the world by holding such a large election. He said, no re-polling and peaceful conduct of voting were the distinctive features of Bihar elections as earlier there used to be news of booth capturing.
He congratulated every worker of NDA as well as their families for the success of their dedicated work and contribution in the elections. He also congratulated BJP President J P Nadda for the victory in the polls.
BJP President J P Nadda said that the people of Bihar have reimposed faith in the welfare policies of the Narendra Modi government by giving mandates to the NDA. He said that these elections show how the Modi government has taken the welfare schemes to the masses and we must also remember that the people of Bihar have chosen Vikasraj instead of Gundaraj.
On the occasion, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh and Amit Shah and senior leaders of the BJP were also present.
