Odisha reports 642 new COVID-19 cases, total active cases 6821

Odisha has reported 642 new COVID-19 cases during last 24 hours, said the state’s Information and Public Relation Department on Monday.
With the latest influx of cases, Odisha’s COVID-19 tally has surged to 3,15,271. Presently, there are 6821 active cases in the state.
Moreover, 385 tested positive undergoing quarantine, while there are 283 local contacts.
As per the district-wise tally of new cases, Keonjhar reported the highest number of cases at 70, followed by Nuapada (69), Sundergarh (66), Khurda (62) and Mayurbhanj (41), the department said in a tweet.
During the last 24 hours as many as 14 people succumbed to the virus taking the total death toll to 1671.
With the 913 recoveries in one single day Monday, the cumulative recovery cases reached 3,06,726 in the state, the I&PR Department said.
