Indian Women In Finals Of Federation Cup Asia-Oceania Tennis Group-II Final

Indian women have stormed into the finals of the Federation Cup (Group-II) Asia-Oceania tennis tournament. At Hyderabad Friday , they recorded another one-sided 2-0 victory over Turkmenistan.

India’s Ankita Raina and Prarthana G Thombare beat their respective Turkmenistan rivals in the two singles matches played at Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium.

While Thombare defeated Jahana Bayramova 6-0 6-2, Raina thrashed Anastafiya Prenko 6-1 6-2. It was an easy victory for the two Indians, who remain unbeaten in the tournament. India are expected to play Indonesia in the finals tomorrow.
