Farmers Suicide In Delhi “Congress Demands Filing Of FIR Against PM Modi , Delhi CM Kejriwal

Congress Wednesday demanded registration of FIR against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal holding them responsible for abetment to suicide of a farmer during Aam Aamdi Party rally in Delhi.

Briefing reporters in New Delhi, party spokesperson Satyavrat Chaturvedi said the NDA government has failed to address the problems of farmers arising due to unseasonal rains and fear of new Land Acquisition Bill.

He hit out at Mr. Kejriwal saying the Chief Minister and AAP leaders did nothing to stop the farmer from committing suicide and remained busy in delivering the speech. He also alleged that Delhi Police, which is under the Central government, was a mute spectator to the incident.

Chaturvedi charged that the large number of farmers committed suicide during previous NDA government and now it is also happening in many parts of the country. Chaturvedi also said that government has no answer to questions which Mr. Gandhi raised during recent Kisan rally on Land Bill.
