Two killed in a blast inside a house in Odisha’s Steel city Rourkela

In Odisha, two persons were killed in a blast inside a house at Bisra Road area in steel city Rourkela Monday morning.
However, no one else was injured in the blast which was heard more than a kilometer away. The roof of the house was blown off and all articles in the house destroyed in the blast, locals said.
Police seized 570 gelatin sticks and 375 detonators from the place. This has raised suspicion that it could be a case of illegal assembly of bomb making material for illegal mining or other criminal activities.
A police team, led by Rourkela SP AK Singh, rushed to the place with a scientific team and is conducted investigation to find clues to the blast.
