President, Vice President, PM condole at demise of DPIIT Secretary Dr Guruprasad Mohapatra

President Ram Nath Kovind has conveyed condolences at the demise of Secretary of Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade Dr. Guruprasad Mohapatra. Mr. Kovind said that Dr. Mohapatra was an outstanding bureaucrat. Mr. Kovind said that Dr. Mohapatra’s work ethics and dedication to public service will remain worthy of emulation.
Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu has expressed anguish at the passing away of Secretary of Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade Dr. Guruprasad Mohapatra. Mr. Naidu said that Dr. Mohapatra was a distinguished civil servant who worked extensively in the power sector, industry and urban development.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the demise of Dr. Guruprasad Mohapatra, Secretary Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, DPIIT . In a tweet, Mr Modi said that he had worked with Dr. Guruprasad Mohapatra extensively in Gujarat and at the Centre. Mr Modi said, he had a great understanding of administrative issues and was known for his innovative zeal. The Prime Minister expressed his condolences to his family and friends.
