Govt ready for meaningful discussions & to answer all tough questions during Monsoon Session : PM Modi

New Delhi, July 19

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that government is ready for meaningful discussions and to answer all questions during the Monsoon Session of the Parliament. Talking to reporters, ahead of Monsoon Session, Mr Modi urged all MPs and political parties to ask the most difficult and sharpest questions in the houses. He asked all members of Parliament to focus on a result-oriented discussion during proceedings.

The Prime Minister also urged them to allow the government to respond it in a disciplined environment. He said, it will give a boost to the democracy, strengthen people’s trust and improve the pace of development. Mr Modi also appealed to all to cooperate in following all COVID protocols. The Prime Minister urged floor leaders to take out some time tomorrow evening. He said, he would like to give them all detailed information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dubbing the vaccinated people in India as Bahubali, the Prime Minister said over 40 crore people have taken at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine. He said, the pandemic has gripped the entire world and the government wants meaningful discussions in the Parliament over it.
